Tip K9FITbone – Down to Stand Perpendicular to Each Other

  • Proper form is important for a dog executing stand to down on 2 K9FITbones!
  • Your dog should be able to stand balanced. Watch your treat position to avoid too much weight in the front limbs.
  • A level top line is encouraged and watch the elbows so that they do not drop below the equipment!
  • Shown 2 K9FITbones

TIP – Paw Pods

If the Paw Pods are positioned in a too challenging or uncomfortable position, your dog will tell you by not holding the position. Listen to your dog when he tells you this. This video does not show an uncomfortable dog.

This clips shows Turbo laterally walking to pods that are set slightly wide so that he will abduct his limbs in a slight straddle. For a second challenge, he laterally walks onto pods that are narrowly set so he is more adducted.

For a third challenge, there are only 3 pods and he must share the third pod with both hind limbs, which greatly adducts the hind limbs! Shown Paw Pods
