Three years ago, she developed the concept of PupPawlates™. Canine physical therapists use FitPAWS® equipment for rehabilitation after injury or surgery, her idea was to use the equipment to avoid injury in the first place by strengthening your dog’s core muscles, balance, and body awareness. This exercise program will benefit not only the active dog in the prevention of injuries but senior dogs to rebuild muscle, strength and coordination. The beauty of Tailwagger’s PupPawlates™ program is that it is designed to easily be performed at home using just one piece of equipment which exercises all major muscle groups in the dog’s body.
Loss of muscle tone in the hind legs is often one of the first signs of aging. As your senior’s balance weakens and their strength becomes a problem, they have difficulty standing up, getting into the car, walking on wood floors, etc. Using this DVD will help your senior dog maintain and even rebuild muscle tone and balance. Start slowly and build up over time. Your senior will have renewed confidence and love the special time you spend together.
For our doggie athletes, this DVD establishes a well-rounded fitness regimen. PupPawlates™ will develop body awareness, balance, core strength, and flexibility. These attributes help to prevent your dog from injury when running, jumping and turning. Included in the video are warm-up and cool-down exercises, as well as a guided massage to keep your athlete in top shape.
All you need for keeping your pooch in shape is the “PupPawlates™ At Home” DVD, either the FitPAWS® Giant Balance Disc (22 inch) or Balance Pad (recommended for seniors with significant mobility issues), and just 20 minutes in the comfort of your home.
