Sonnet practiced small animal medicine in Phoenix for more than 14 years before opening her own physical rehabilitation clinic, Arizona Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation. With post-doctorate training in the diagnosis and management of pain and loss of function, she recognizes the importance of preventing joint breakdown, muscle strains, and injuries through fitness and nutrition. Dr. Sonnet is certified as a personal trainer for people with the National Academy for Sports Medicine. She combines her knowledge of human fitness and exercise with her canine rehabilitation skills and veterinary medical expertise. She specializes in core strengthening, custom weight loss programs, and corrective exercises. Dr. Sonnet offers fitness and conditioning seminars in Phoenix and southern Arizona. . Dr. Sonnet is a member of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
